The culmination of dinosaur week is upon us.
After the mess we made the other day with the paint, we decided to keep this one simple. We happened to have these foam mats around the house, but we don’t use them as mats. Instead, for this activity, we just popped out the different dinosaurs and traced them onto poster paper. Then we colored them in. Easy peasy and great for fine motor skills and getting used to holding a writing tool. As a variation, this works great with letter and number mat too!
I happen to really like these. Your little one can hold them like a pencil, but they don’t break with a firm press while your child is learning to write.
Little learners today, leaders tomorrow…..happy creating!
